Wood Is Alive. Treat It Gently.
Solid hardwood keeps responding to the air around it. A few simple habits protect its colour and keep its surface smooth for decades.
Dust with a soft, dry cloth. Wipe spills straight away and avoid placing hot dishes directly on the surface. Keep pieces out of strong direct sunlight and away from air-conditioning vents, which dry timber unevenly.
Once a Year
Apply a thin coat of furniture oil or wax recommended for your finish, let it sit, then buff it off. If you are unsure which product to use, ask us. We will advise based on the finish we applied.
